Once again, Slim did not show up for the show. We’re definitely disappointed. However, I just checked his Facebook and he had this message as his status:

St Paul Slim To all of you who were listening in to the Boombox @ HU Radio today hoping to hear my voice. I apologise. I will make it up to you. promise! know tho, that I am working extremely hard to bring y’all the thunda! p.e.a.c.e.

We’d just like to say thank ALL of you for listening. I know we had over 100 confirmed guests for the facebook event. We love your support, thank you! We hope you enjoyed the music we played anyways. Please hang in there, we have guests that will be showing up for future shows. You can find those on our calendar.

On a better note, local artist Dustin Thomas was here for City Love. He played a beautiful set of songs and we gladly had him in the station for over an hour. :) Thank you so much Dustin for coming through. We would love to have you again.
